This episode is a solo one, and I'm answering four common ectopic pregnancy questions:
Does the feeling of anger, guilt, and sadness ever get better?
Did your doctor give you a treatment option?
Is there hope for a healthy pregnancy after an ectopic?
Do you find relationships being hard after your ectopic?

World Health Day: Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures
Monday Apr 07, 2025
Monday Apr 07, 2025
World Health Day (today) is kicking off a year-long campaign on maternal and newborn health titled, “Healthy beginnings, hopeful futures.” It urges governments and the health community to ramp up efforts to end preventable maternal and newborn deaths, and to prioritize women’s longer-term health and well-being.
80% of maternal deaths are preventable.
I was invited to be on my friend's podcast, Instigating Women + Friends, to discuss ectopic pregnancy and the importance of this campaign. I share in my intro that the primary recording is from her podcast.
An ectopic pregnancy is life-threatening and happens when a fertilized egg implants outside of the uterus.
Enjoy our real and honest conversation.
Thank you, World Health Organization, for choosing this topic for this year's campaign. I urge everyone to share their stories - as long as you're comfortable.❤️
